The Role You'll Play to Create Success

We are happy to announce a full-time Quality Assurance Lead position filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by ensuring an efficient means to test all the aspects of a software solution, both functionally and technically.

  1. Reviews functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
  2. Identifies the risks that will impact the overall testing for the Project.
  3. Formulates test requirements from specifications and creates test strategy, test plan, and generation of test data for a project.
  4. Allocates tasks to the QA Analyst or a tester.
  5. Reviews test cases with the QA Analyst and other members of the Sprint team.
  6. Summarizes the testing completed.
  7. Tests Reports and validate the data hydration in the SQL data warehouse.
  8. Be well versed with Integration testing and use of tools such as Visual Cron for running jobs and Postman for API testing.
  9. Decides how it will be carried out and to what extent it will be automated for Operational readiness.
  10. Executes manual and automated test cases and report test results.
  11. Plans and executes Capacity, Volume / Load, and Stress testing.
  12. Identifies any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
  13. Ensures that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
  14. Isolates, replicates, and reports defects and verify defect fixes.

The Attributes We Seek

Keys to success in this position include having three (3) years of relevant QA technical experience, working in a large enterprise or e-business system. Bachelor degree in a technical program preferred, high school diploma is required. 
Expertise in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers, and replication. Experience using QA/BA tools to include, MS Office suite, MS Project, database query language, time tracking tools, Use Case/UML, QA for test case development, execution, and defect tracking/issue tracking software is required. Detailed awareness of the business context of a technical solution, including specific business goals associated with the project, how the project will meet goals and their own part in advancing goals.
